Doña Olga has worked in cabarets for over 45 years and is now La Mami, in charge of the women's bathroom at the mythical Barba Azul cabaret. Every night she takes care to the girls who work there dancing with the clients. For them, the bathroom is a bubble of confidence within Barba Azul. A new woman arrives to the bathroom, she has a sick child and she needs a job.

Laura Herrero Garvín
Laura studied a master's degree in documentary at the Universidad Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. Previously she graduated in sound and image engineering, and started to work in filmmaking in San Francisco. She arrived to México in 2010 to study cinema and has worked as director and cinematographer on different film projects. Laura is part of the Emergenciamx collective and co-founder of La Sandía Digital. She has made more than twenty short documentaries in Latin America and Europe. Her feature debut El Remolino, premiered at the Locarno Film Festival and received awards from a dozen film festivals including Documentamadrid, Planetfocus and Saratov IFF. Her latest documentary ¿Me vas a gritar? screened in official selection at Clermont Ferrand, Malaga, Morelia and Palm Springs, among others.
